Bismarck and other vessels
Mar. 12th, 2008 05:07 pmIn May I'm hoping to do a course run the Canberra Model Shipwrights Society. The model I'll be building is a 1/100 scale 1921 fishing schooner by Amati Modellismo and is called the Blue Nose. A nice looking vessel, 54cm long and 45cm high.
I'm also tempted by the Amati Modellismo HMS Fly which is 80cm long by 60cm high and is the fifth of the Swan Class of ship rigged sloop, of 25 vessels built from 1766 to 1780. :)
The rigging would be hell on this ship to do, but would look fantastic once all done. :)
